Hello Professor René Larenas

My name is Raquel Salazar Allendes, and I am currently 19 years old, although my birthday is coming up soon.

Originally, I am from San Pedro, a rural commune that belongs to the province of Melipilla in the Metropolitan Region. In primary school, I studied in a rural school in my commune, and then in high school, I applied to a semi-private school in Melipilla, where I also lived to avoid having to travel long distances.

I graduated from high school in 2020, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to enter university last year, although it was actually for the best.

After studying for the entrance exam, I decided to apply for Chemistry and Pharmacy at Universidad de Chile, where I am currently in my second year of the program.

As for my family, who really made me feel like a family, it was my father and my maternal grandmother. My father's name was Juan Salazar, and he was the best father in the world, one of the people I love the most. Sadly, he passed away in 2020 due to a stroke; it's a complicated topic. My grandmother's name is Brigida Tapia, an extravagant name like herself. She is a wonderful and caring person, and really was like a mother to me.

I consider that I have had many hobbies over the years, such as drawing, painting, knitting, cycling, making clay sculptures, playing the piano, among others. However, currently I only practice a few, although I would like to be able to resume the others when I am better.
