When I was a child, I didn't really think much about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I enjoyed living in my own little world and doing things that made me happy. Looking back, I remember being fascinated by animals and how they felt. Even today, I still care about their well-being. However, I eventually gave up on the idea of working with animals when I realized that they could die in any circumstances. I would have liked to study geology or even music and visual arts, but I considered my economic situation and wanted to improve it. In addition to the high earning potential of a pharmacy degree, I'm also drawn to chemistry - discovering and creating new things in the laboratory, learning and being in that environment. The first two semesters were quite challenging due to the transition from high school to university and from my hometown to the bustling city of Santiago.
