When I was a child, I didn't really think much about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I enjoyed living in my own little world and doing things that made me happy. Looking back, I remember being fascinated by animals and how they felt. Even today, I still care about their well-being. However, I eventually gave up on the idea of working with animals when I realized that they could die in any circumstances. I would have liked to study geology or even music and visual arts, but I considered my economic situation and wanted to improve it. In addition to the high earning potential of a pharmacy degree, I'm also drawn to chemistry - discovering and creating new things in the laboratory, learning and being in that environment. Hello Professor René Larenas My name is Raquel Salazar Allendes, and I am currently 19 years old, although my birthday is coming up soon. Originally, I am from San Pedro, a rural commune that belongs to the province of Melipilla in the Metropolitan Region. In primary school, I studied in a rural school in my commune, and then in high school, I applied to a semi-private school in Melipilla, where I also lived to avoid having to travel long distances. I graduated from high school in 2020, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to enter university last year, although it was actually for the best.
